Enimax is currently engineering a total retrofit of the thermal system
at BP's wind-tunnel facility in Naperville, IL, USA. This work includes:
Design and drawings
Bidding process and
The BP wind tunnel operates at a nozzle temperature range from -40°F
to +120°F (-40°C to +50°C).
Enimax redesigned the entire thermal system at Naperville to meet
BP's current requirements, which have been upgraded from the time
of the original design.
Enimax has also been retained as work and technical coordinator for
the entire retrofit project, including the chassis dynamometer, facility
control system (FCS), fire suppression system and auxiliary systems.
Environment and Safety
We are proud to be associated with BP's world-wide "All Green"
and "Safety First" efforts to set the example for environmentally
responsible corporate business.
Enimax also participated in BP's Hazard and Operational Safety program
(HAZOP) for this project.
Brine and Refrigerant Replacement
Enimax replaced trichloroethylene (TCE) in the secondary system with
a non-toxic, non-flammable alternative, and R-22 with an environmentally
